How Do You Know When It’s Good

Right about now, we’re in a good spot. We’re ‘happy’.

image credit: Nikolay MamlukeYou know, neither us of have any lurking complaints about doing the laundry or spending too much money on take-out. We’re laughing and enjoying each other’s company.

In fact, today we’re in Schenectady, NY enjoying a quick romantic getaway, something we don’t do enough. (We dropped Handsome off at the summer program at Union) So, what’s the catch?

How Do You Know

None really. I’m just wondering, as I’m want to do, why some times stand out as lovely in a marriage. Not much has changed from a factual standpoint, but suddenly we (or should I say I) feel in love again. Of course, I love my swubby all the time. However, I don’t alway feel in love.

Do You Get What I’m Saying?

If you get this, and I hope someone does lest I’m plain crazy, can you articulate this better than me.

What helps you get ‘ that loving feeling’?
