I’ve Got Sex all Covered- Here’s Proof!

May 17, 2008

ck_alltop_125×125.jpg What a proud day this is. ThisMarriageThing was selected to be included in the Alltop, a collection of all the top blog stories compiled by none other than Guy Kawasaki.

Don’t know him. Ok, you know Apple Computers, right. Well, Guy was the guy who coined the term brand evangelist that changed the way companies marketed forever. Besides being the author of several terrific books, including the Art of the Start, he’s a regular columnist for Entrepreneur magazine, where my Ombuds work was featured a few years ago. All very ’six degrees’.

My only concern is how to I explain to my kids (and Mom) why I’m featured on the sex page. Yikes! Never mind, I’m thrilled to get such a great Mother’s Day gift.

Congrats, Dina. That new tagline must have caught his eye :)

Nice. I’m in that category too. Somewhat strange, isn’t it? I love the new tagline.

Well I wouldn’t worry about your mom . My mother called me one day frantically wanting to know if I knew what a “vajayjay” was!
She was mesmerized by the newly minted word for “vagina”; thank you “Grey’s Anatomy”. I was freaking out she even said the word. “Huh”? was my only response. Mom was way ahead of me on this one. I haven’t used the word once but Oprah digs it.

@ Roberta- That tagline was a struck of genius, wasn’t it? Anyone wanting something as fab should visit the Copywriting Maven for sure.

@Erin- thanks. I’m pretty excited about TMT, too.

@ Cory- Thanks. Knowing how much you hated the last tagline that means a lot. Watch out I got a meme coming your way…

@ Maria- I saw that episode. It’s a cute way to get around it. On another one they had the mom say ‘my good girl’. Now, I’m all for modesty but there’s something wrong if one of the most miraculous, powerful parts of a woman’s body has to have an alias. You know what I’m saying?

Got something to say?
